Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!
oh no... im so worried about this part -- declaration of primary state of residence-- philippines . i dint fill up that portion because i read somewhere that you don't need to write anything on that part... OH GOSH!!! i hope it will be ok... i sent my application last september 14 and they got it september 17...oh well, i'll keep my fingers crossed!!!
Worry not, I don't think that alone will be taken against your file. I also left that item blank when I accomplished my application as in my understanding it applies to US residents. Anyway, I was nonetheless made eligible. To God be the glory!

Thank you bebe13 for your words... it helped relieve my anxiety about the application...
oh im sorry to hear that.. when did you take the exam? how long have you waited for your eligblity to arrive?..
regarding your question, i have read it in NM BON under re-examination, u have to wait for 45 days,,
NOTE: Candidates who fail the examination may apply to retake the examination a maximum of eight (8) times per year, but not more than once in any forty five (45) day period. If it has been one year since last background check you must submit another set of cards for processing with the $31.00 fee.
hope it helps...

Suggest that you check with them to see if they still have it. Since you never sent in the application, they are not under any ruling that they need to keep that TOR. There was nothing to include with it, such as the rest of your information.
Contact them and then go from there.

For the others that are reading this, it is always the better idea to have your petition sent first, before you have the school send in anything. There is no requirement that the BON has to hold onto the document if the appropriate application is not forthcoming and during that same timeframe. They do not do anything with files until they have received payment. Much better always to have the file set-up first before the required documents are sent in to them. They have a tendency to sometimes get lost that way.
hi everyone...
just an update that i want to confirm with anyone who knows the same thing...
my friends and i sent our application forms to new mexico board last sept 14 and they received it sept 17.
my friend's fingerprint cards were sent back because they said that the fees increased last september 14. what used to be $31 the nm dept of public safety for the fingerprint cards ARE NOW $40.25
does anyone know anything? i havent received mine and am wondering why.... we sent our documents at the same time...
to cobber2007,how were you informed that the board received your documents? i sent mine last oct 8 and i also included $31 for the fingerprint card..so do you think my documents will be returned also? thank you for the information..
dear xyacivx, i sent my documents with two other friends... their fingerprint cards were sent back and im anxious if ill get mine back. according to them, there was a letter attached as to why their cards were returned, and the reason states was that the fees were changed.
if you want to know if they received your documents, you can email vidaurri and inquire about your requirements. if you used fedex, you can check with their tracking service and see what time and who received your documents...
i checked with the tracking services of fedex and it was already received last oct11..thanks..now, i am thinking of sending an additional demand draft of $9.25 to complete the payment for the fingerprintcrd or do you think i just have to wait for their instructions? thanks so much for your reply..
