New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

hello again colleagues..i was wondering if someone is in the same boat with me? my applicaiotn to NM has taken long, and i've emailed the BON and ms. vidaurri...and until now they still dont have a reply...can anyone please enlighten me?

hi superborj. i emailed ms. vidaurri yesterday. she responded immediately today. didn't she respond to your email? i told her i'm a non-us educated rn and i gave the date when the bon received my complete file. she gave me my file number and told me to refer to it for all board businesses until i successfully pass the exam. there are no april approvals yet (my complete file was received by bon on april 12). she also told me processing is now 2 months or more. maybe they are still processing march applications.

this is the email add i used: [email protected] and i sent a carbon copy to [email protected].

i just passed the nclex. yehey. took it last june 21 in hong kong. took me 86 questions. i checked the NM BON website license verification today and found my name and license number there. thanks to allnurses forums, suzzane for the review tips and all those who answered all my queries.

you have to send them the complete application form and payment or they will not even begin to process your application

hello again fellow nurses...i recieved an email from ms.vidaurri telling me that my application is complete,and that i could register at pearsonvue already, which i did, a week ago, but until now my ATT hasn't arrived..i heard from some that they got their ATT minuters after they registered...help, im getting worried..tnx again..more power..;)

it may be that pearsonve haven't got att from the BON just give it a little bit longer. Sometime is does take a while

if you fail (but think positively) then according to their website you can apply but have to wait 45 days before you can resit. Here is the link http://www.bon.state.nm.us/forms/RN_LPNreexam0307.pdf
