New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

hello everyone...i just want to know if any here is in the same boat with me..i paased my application last march and until now i havent heard from ms.vidaurri...i eamiled here and all i got was an automated message...im gettting really worried...heheh...ur thoughts please...thanks alot!

the very same thing happened to me. thanks to this forum, i now have my ATT :lol2:

miss vidaurri might have some personal problems right now so she can't respond to your email (the time that happened to me, she explained that there was a death in her family). if you're charged already with the application fee (if you're using a credit card as a mode of payment), go register online with pearson vue. the registration will cost you $200. pearson vue will then send you the ATT (in my case, it was 24hrs after i registered) if you're already cleared with new mexico BON (which is not impossible, seeing they've already charged you with the application fee by credit card).

if you're queasy about gambling with $200 (which you'll be doing once you register with pearson vue), you can write to the new mexico BON. the BON will then forward the email to miss vidaurri. this is what was recommended to me (and which i did). you must observe proper courtesy however. addressing the email to BON instead of to miss vidaurri is like bypassing her authority. if all goes well, miss vidaurri will email you back and will probably recommend you to go ahead and register with pearson vue.

tnx palomahelenasangre....by the way when did you send your application? and afterhow many months or weeks did you register at pearsonvue? thnx a bunch..

good question :lol2: i passed the documents december 2006. the application fee reflected in my credit card february 2007. i emailed miss vidaurri (4x) but i still haven't heard from her, so i called BON (all i got was voice mail). last week of april i stumbled on this forum (a blessing, really). registered with pearson vue april 30, got my ATT by email may 1. ang bilis!

if i were you, i'd recommend you register with pearson vue na (provided you've already been charged with the required fees by BON). because that's what miss vidaurri will also tell you once she gets in touch with you.

i first emailed miss vidaurri 4x. each time, i waited about a week (kaya nagtagal). no such luck. then the good people here suggested i email BON. that's when the BON forwarded the email to miss vidaurri.

apparently (as with everyone else), miss vidaurri was forced into action when it was her superior who forwarded the email to her. so i advise you caution and courtesy when writing the email ;)
