New Mexico Licensure Question

Published

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

Sent My application on the 9th of Jan 2007 and have sent at least 6 emails to NM Bon and not a single reply. Very disappointed with there level of Service, I know they are busy but it won't take all day for online of email.

Still waiting...

Hi there! Does anyone here have an idea on how licensure by endorsement go about - If a person is licensed in NM and is planning to endorse it to Texas? My cousin indicated NM in his application as his primary state. Will it have any implications if he will endorse it right away to Texas even if he put NM as his primary state in his application before? Thank you!

Your cousin will need to follow the procedure for License by Endorsement and that requires the CES for Texas. No problem, he will not be covered under the Compact License pact anyway, so where the primary residence is listed does not mean anything.

And until the nurse is actually in the US, they do not have a legal residence in the US.

not yet. i plan on getting the ATT from BON before registering at pearson vue.

Just saw this now, so sorry for the late response to it.

You are not going to get the ATT without registering with Pearson-Vue as it is not sent by the BON, but is actually sent out by Pearson-Vue. Once you have paid for the exam, and they have received approval from the BON that you can actually sit for the exam, you will receive the ATT. In no other order, will you receive the ATT.

So, suggest that you wait until you receive word that NM has accepted your credentials, and then register with Pearson-Vue and pay them for the exam. That is the only way to get the ATT.

hey thanks! maybe i'll do that. it's going to be a huge gamble, but it's worth a try. thanks :3

may i know if you already registered thru pearsonvue and got your ATT for your new Mexico Board?

here's the timeline of my application to NM BON:

dec.01 06 - my school sent my TOR and RLE to NM BON

jan. 23 07 - i sent my application form via courier

feb 13 07 - registered with pearson vue

apr 20 07 - received my att from pearson vue via email

you can request it thru NM board thru email, their email add is found on their website..

hi. don't print the fingerprint cards from the fbi website. i did it and they sent back my application to me. they placed a note that the fbi doesn't accept downloaded fingerprint cards anymore. it may take 2 weeks for the fingerprint cards to arrive after you email them but you wouldn't waste time and money.

I finally get my ATT guys after 70 days of waiting! Praise God I have it now!please pray for me guys that I will also pass the NCLEX exam soon! To God be the glory!

that's great to hear. im scheduled in hong kong for june 21. it took me around 2 weeks to get that schedule. just check up on the available slots as often as you can online. vacant slots just pop up almost at any time. dont call pearson for vacant slots, just check online often. when you find a vacant slot, call pearson IMMEDIATELY. before calling, ready your candidate number and the credit card details.
