Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

yes. you can get eligible in less than a month. requirements are ur TOR, and RLE. then the letter of certificate of eligibility from ur school. fingerprint card, the notarized forms.
hello, would like to ask if NM issue a hard card license? I believe california doesn't issue one unless you have an employer's SSN?
hello everyone!!! this is actually my first post here at allnurses!
i just want to thank all of you for all the informations you've shared, they are very helpful. im also planning to apply for NM licensure and im currently here in the philippines. i would just like to clarify things....
1. is this the application form that i should use eventhough im a foreign graduate?
http://www.bon.state.nm.us/forms/ExamApp.pdf
2. I have read here in your posts that the CERTIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR GRADUATION OF NURSING PROGRAM, is not for foreign graduates and that i should just ask my school to send both my TOR and my RLE. But would it make a difference if my school has included the CERTIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR GRADUATION OF NURSING PROGRAM, to the forms they sent to NM Board?
3. How will NM know where to contact me if they have approved my credentials? Is it through my email to them clarifying the status of my credentials?
4. Im currently single and in my birth certificate for example it says: Jose (FIRST NAME) Ako (MIDDLE NAME) Rizal (LAST NAME). this shows that I dont have a second name after Jose. Should my middle name be written in the middle name part of the application? since one of the post here said that middle name in the US means your second name?
I hope that you would still answer my question even if they are just clarifications of the previous posts.
thank you all and mabuhay from the philippines!!!!

hi allspeed, you can include the certification of eligibility for graduation of nursing program if you want to because that's what i did and i did not have any issues with that. a cover letter is not necessary and i didn't include any because i assumed that the person who will get it would clearly know what to do with it---and that was also fine because i didn't have issues with that as well. but of course if you want to write up one, you're free to do so. they will contact you through e-mail advising you of the status of your documents. sometimes, it takes a while before they get to reply though---i guess it's because of their high volume of workload. regarding your name, follow exactly what is written in your birth certificate to avoid inconsistency and problems with mismatching names for immigration purposes later on. hope this helps.

With regards to your question on what middle name to put in that portion this refers to your mothers surname before she was married to your dad.... example if your mom's name is "Ana Bonfiacio" before she got married to your dad. After the marriage Ana Bonifacio became Ana Bonifacio Rizal or Ana B. Rizal"
So therefore what you will put in your application indicating your first name is "Jose" middle name is "Bonifacio" and your surname is "Rizal"
or in short your name should be like this Jose B. Rizal
But if your complete name is Jose Andres Bonifacio Rizal what you will place on your first name is "Jose Andres", middle name "Bonifacio", and surname "Rizal"
On what I can recall the ones who have no middle names are the Japanese people. All Filipinos have middle names. If your still confuse ask your mom whats her surname before she got married to your dad and thats your middle name.

hi! My school submitted my TOR & RLE Record last Oct 9 & New Mexico BON Received it Oct 13. Then my application form, FP Cards, FP Cert & ATRI sheet plus the payments were mailed Oct 23 & received by NM BON Oct 24.
No feedback yet.
Can I inquire about the status of my application to them or is it too early?
If so, who is the right person to contactor email?
Thanks
