And now here I am, finally about to start in August. I can't WAIT. I got a 1000.00 scholarship that's paying for all of the stuff FA won't cover.
So far, everything is somehow falling into place and I can't wait to hurry up and start already.
I'm going to school here:
i am new to the boards, and just got accepted into lpn school starting in august. i am very nervous, as i have 2 kids and know that my time will be limited. i picked up my first nursing textbook today and was suprised at all the information it contained. my program is a year, and i'm told that it will be very hard. good luck to all, hopefully you will be seeing me alot on these boards for questions and such!
lisa:yeah:
Good luck to you all who will be starting soon. I will be finishing up my 10 1/2 month program in August, it goes by sooo fast. Yes, it is tough, and you will have no life lol, but you can do it. Just study hard, and practice your NCLEX books throughout the year it helped me on my tests and to get use to thinking like that.
Hi I'm just wondering if all aspiring lpns are required to take the net cause if so I know nothing about it
Some schools yes they do, my school however had the hesi. It is a test the see how well you know your basic stuff like math, English, science etc. I did pretty well on it, it wasn't bad at all.

Hi there all,
I took my entrance test in June and start on July 1st! My husband will be leaving in the middle of july for the marine basic training (13 weeks) and we have 2 little girls so I am sure I will be online a lot looking for a few study tips or a little sanity! :chuckle
