New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

When I submitted my docs to AHPRA-Vic I have indicated in the last part of the AGOS40 form that the AU$540 fee will be paid through my credit card, however, when my statement of account from BDO came it was noted that only AU$450 was paid. AHPRA is now asking for my lacking AU$90 inorder for them to continue my assessment.Has anybody from this forum ever experienced like this? If so, what were the measures you took to correct it? Thank you so much!God bless us all...

yes you can. i got the same email and asked the registration team if i could send it to their street address since dhl and fedex do not ship items to po box addresses. the assistant registrations manager replied and said that i could send my docs to their street address and put ahpra registration department as the addressee. its kind of confusing though since when i inquired via ahpra website the registration officer told me to put my case officer as the addressee. i just followed what the assistant manager told me. nevertheless, both of them said that its ok to send the docs to their street address. :)

Miss read post. Do you not have a registered letter service? this is much cheaper and is usually more secure than a courier service.

I am for June 4th intake at perth IHNA.

hi!

aphra-wa has requested me to submit a reference letter and an updated cv..

i have worked as a staff nurse in a tertiary hospital for 1 year and right now, i am employed as a company nurse. from whom should i request my reference letter?..from my previous nurse supervisor or my current HR supervisor?..(coz i do not have a senior nurse in the company)..

also, who should sign on my cv?..my former nurse supervisor or my current HR supervisor?..

i'm sooo confused right now..i've been texting my consultancy but they were not replying..thank you..God bless!

i think it would be safe if you submit two reference letters coming from both. :)

@star17

Is it needed to let your supervisor sign your CV? Or your signature only?

thanks! in your updated cv, did you let your senior nurse or supervisor sign as well? after sending these documents, what were the other documents did they require from you and how long did you wait for your eligibility?
