Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

I'd love to be on an earlier intake but May/June is too early for me even if I will be given the chance to be admitted. I'm considering the time I have to process my visa which entails what? a minimum of 4 weeks? So just to be on the safe side, I'm OK with AUG/Sept. :) I'm pretty sure you'll get by just fine.
Patience dear. God has plans. Just wait. :)
Hi, I agree patience is the key. but, time is of the essence any delay might hamper all our australian dream coz of jobs filling up too fast. I myself waiting for this LOE for quite some time now. I'm getting impatient & nervous as days goes by, especially after I heard my friend from iloilo saying that his neighbor came back home w/out job after the bridging prgram. I don't want to be negative but that's the reality. They say it's a delaying tactics from AHPRA at the same time accepting applicants for money making. why they still keep on accepting applicants for registration if there's no more job to be filled. I still believe in destiny if you cannot find them make them. God bless to all!
