Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hi everyone! i have been a regular visitor and reader of this thread, and i have definitely learned a lot.
now that i thought i have gathered all of the needed requirements, i learned that i need to furnish ahpra with statutory declarations to meet criterion 5.
so i have read about making such a paper, and i have learned that i need at least somebody who is/had been working for the australian commonwealth (or in that sense) to sign the declaration as my witness. do i have to find one? or is there an alternative way for us, nurses who are completing the requirements outside australia, to do this (maybe an affidavit signed by a local attorney)?
i`m confused; sorry. but god bless the person who can give me any information about this. :)

- transcript of training from my school has not indicate if 'pharmacology' is studied in your nursing programme. please provide a revised transcript of training or letter of confirmation from the university confirming 'pharmacology' is included in your nursing programme must display clinical and theoretical hours.
- require evidence of your ielts test result - as indicated completed 21/01/2012
i already send my ielts test electronically result thru idp manila last march 5, 2012 accdg to the idp agent.who will give me a letter of confirmation? is it the dean of my college?
i need some helpful suggestions please...im waiting for the visa support letter from CON for me to be able to commence with my visa application...but since im really eager to have the con may intake do you guys think applying a tourist visa may help??? i have my mum and sister who are permanently residing in aistralia..they can invite me to come over...please give me reliable ideas thanks :)

in certifying documents, i went to a lawyer to notarize my documents . ..ahpra has a pattern in certifying documents. . just make sure that you will include all the important details indicated by ahpra. .

i think the certificate of good standing from prc will be for criterion 5?
I think the Certificate of Good standing from PRC will be for criterion 5?
@ Danceinstructor yes, you're right . .cert. of good standing from PRC is already a proof to meet criterion 5 . .

for my case i asked the secretary of the dean about this and gladly she told me "for australia ****? *****" apparently, they already have a format for it with pharmacology on our course outline. try asking her.
did the idp sent it via air mail to australia?
hi again!! while waiting for the loe, what vaccine shall i get first?will you guys advise me what vaccines i should be receiving if I'll be enrolling in CON?

For Con:
DPT - one adult dose ( dTpa) not ADT
Hepa B AND anti HBS greater than or equal to 10mlIU/ml or Documented evidence of anti HBc, indicating past Hepatitis B infection.
MMR - 2 doses at least 1 month apart or positive IgG for measles, mumps or rubella
Varicella - 2 doses at elast 1 month apart or Positive IgG for varicella
TB - TST
