  1. Hi nurses! :) Hmm I don`t know what really happened. Maybe they're still busy with the December intake? Last time I checked, they just released offer letters a few weeks ago for that intake. I hope the delay for our results won't be long. I'd be glad if it'd be out by tomorrow cause the agony is just hard to bear. Good luck to us! And may we have more patience. Heheh!
  2. Hello. To those guys who had been interviewed for AAON`s February intake, have you received any outcome from them today?
  3. Hey! Yep they did send an automated email that says results won't be disclosed until Oct 30 which is today, but so far I haven`t received anything from them yet for today.
  4. I'm done with the interview. I'm not quite sure of the thing they're assessing - communication skills, honesty? They didn't ask a thing about diseases, like what other schools have been doing, which is good, I guess. To be honest, I'm not pleased by the answers I gave out. Not that I did horribly bad, but the interviewer seemed unconvinced with my answers. Hayy. How about the other guys, did they say you passed right after the interview? Good luck to all of us! :)
  5. Hello there! Like strwbry_nars, the confirmation I got that they've received my papers was that they emailed me to scan and submit a copy of my passport. I have tried IHNA. They have an online application. I would probably look for other schools when I won't pass AAON`s interview. And hope it wouldn't be too late by then to apply for intakes for the first quarter of 2013; my eligibility's done by June so yea. Let's keep each other posted! Kind regards.
  6. Hi! You mean intakes for this year? They have an October intake, but then again, it will be too late to apply at this time. I'm not quite sure about the next intake after February. Regarding the IELTS thing, they wouldn't schedule you for an interview until you meet their requirement. Hope this helps. Good luck! :)
  7. Hello strwbry_nars! Yea I called them about a week ago, and fortunately I was able to talk to someone from the admissions team. She informed me that interviews will be done in around November for February intake. Are you for February intake? Let's keep each other posted. :)
  8. Hi there. Sent mine to AAON, and I still haven't received any feedback about my application. I tried ringing them today but the lady failed to provide definite answers, says she's not an admissions officer. I'm going to call the again tomorrow. Yep have completed all immunizations before I sent them. When did you submit your documents, and for which intake did you apply?
  9. Hi. Who among you here tried having their papers assessed by AAON? How did it go?
  10. Thanks sweetie. I sent mine two days after you sent yours and received it this Tuesday. I don't think you're in trouble. Your assessing officer might just be taking his or her time checking your papers. Think positive mate! Good luck and I hope to hear good news from you soon!
  11. Hi Danceinstructor! I`ve just received an offer a few days ago. How about you? :) God bless!
  12. i don`t think so. that`s why you should take an ielts exam to show that your english skills are sufficient. i don`t completely understand this part, sweetie. but to put it simply, on your cv, i guess internship would refer to the institutions you had your rotations in during college. now anything you had after that is considered work history. whether the certificate states "internship" if you took it after graduation, it is automatically under work history. okay so do you mean the institution where you offered your services for free didn`t even award you a certificate of training or something of that sort? if they gave you one, you could use that. i`d say this again, it doesn`t necessarily have to be a "statement of service". make one only if you can. those certificates you have mentioned above can do, just for as long as they clearly state the role you did, the number of hours you spent, etc. hope this helps. have a good day!
  13. so with that i`m assuming you`d want to send your application to victoria. correct? address: when you are going to send it via the postal office i believe you could use their gpo box address while if you want to be extra sure (tracking, etc.) and would want to send it through a courier, use their building address. you can see all the addresses on the ahpra website. *be careful in choosing the office you are going to send your papers to. i can`t guarantee that the victoria office would be as fast. last year, nurses in this forum who passed their documents to victoria had to wait for months, as compared to those who submitted their papers to other offices. i guess it`s about which office receives the least applications: they`re most probably the ones who can process the fastest. references and publications: i`m not really sure about the "publications" thing. are you sure it is "references and publications" or "references or publications"? anyways, what i did was i provided two people for each professional and personal references. so that makes it a total of four people. be sure to state who they are and their contact details. timing of the papers: i sent the documents, went to the prc office, and contacted the british council all at the same day hahahah. but here`s actually how long they`d take: [a] certificate of good standing: 10-15 days. ielts result: they`ll send the results after 5 working days. plus, 3-4 days for it to reach ahpra. i guess it`s best if your application form reaches the office first. size of paper: who did say you were kiddin'? bahahahah. letter size. e-mail address: well of course i do. ask it here! nobody`s gonna laugh at you, trust me, sweetheart. we`ve all been there. look, danceinstructor`s right there who can also help you. hope this helps.
  14. Hey there cutie! I`m sorry but I`m not really comfortable sharing my nude photos with everybody.... so yeah. Don`t worry, hon, you can post your questions here and I would answer all of them. That would be a lot better `cause you can get other perspectives from other nurses here in the forum as well. Okay so down with the business. First question pleease!
  15. I used a visa debit card. Payment details should have been provided in the AGOS-40 form.
