Need help preparing for the Hesi A2 Entrance Exam

I bought the study guide but I have heard it is not much help when preparing for this test. I will be taking it in Nov at MCC. I was wondering if anyone bought "Hesi Test Secrets" from Morrison Media. It is $40, but it is worth it?

Any study advice would be appreciated!

The HESI study guide. They provide an on-screen calculator (which I wasn't aware of until test date), and just google 'hesi practice tests'. You may find various practice tests at various colleges/universities' sites for their proficiency tests too.

I got mine on Craigslist...they are also available at the 'student center' (I forget what MCC calls it, by the library) for 3 hour 'rentals', bookstore, amazon.com, etc.... I'd give you mine, but I plan to take the test again before I apply next year (it can't hurt--they'll take my best score)!

hi

could you please tell me what kind of questions they had for the math section? were all the questions multiple choice and/or fill in the blank (the study guide has some fill in the blanks especially for conversions).

Does anyone have a specific title/ISBN# for a high quality HESI A2 study guide? I'm taking the math and reading comprehension sections. I haven't done algebra type math in 9 years, but I'm not too worried about the reading since I already have a bachelors degree.
