hi, everyone i would really like your input on my test experience yesterday morning 2/07. my computer stopped right after the 79th question..anywho, i only received 3 sata,no click & drag, no hotspot, no med calc, 6-10 drug questions and some teaching. i think i was asked the same drug twice.does this mean i didn't answer it the first time correctly?

this is my first time sitting for the exam and i'm a nervous wreck waiting for the results. has anyone passed receiving an easy question on their last test question? i hear many times this is an indicator of a failing score. i will try to remain optimistic and positive while i wait. btw i took the exam in california. hope you all can share with me your insights on my exam and share your exam findings. thanks and god bless you all.

post edited to remove specifics about questions that you had, not permitted to be posted per the document that you signed priior to starting the exam.

There is no way for anyone to offer any thoughts on this. Impossible to second guess what one's results are going to be.

You are going to have to wait until you get your results from the BRN.

Also editing yout post since you posted specifics as to what some questions were and this is not permitted by the Board that wrote the exam.

Best of luck to you.

Don't obsess about the test. It is over and you can't tell how you did until you get your results. Think in a positive manner. Look for a passing test score. Good luck.

You just can not predict with this exam. Best thing to do is get out and distract yourself whilst waiting for results

I'm on the same boat as you are. I took mine on 02/05/09 in California and my computer stopped in the 80's. I had approximately 6 SATAs, no med calculation and numerous prioritization. I'm a nervous wreck since I exited the pearson building and now I'm getting sick. Since we don't have control over this situation, we should relax and distract ourselves with anything. I hope that we both passed!!! Let's just cross our fingers.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to say; it appears that all the emotions we experience is a "noramal" reaction after the exam. I went through it with my NclexPN and now just yesterday with the Nclex RN exam. Both Times mine shut off with the minimum of questions. I swore I had failed the Pn exam but ended up passing. Now with taking the Rn exam I have a sinking feeling that I failed. I kept saying to myself please shut off at 75 so I dont have to endure anymore of this torture, and then it happend. I looked at every question carefully but still felt like " I think this might be right, but I just don't know for sure". I had a mix of questions with many select all that apply.......multiple med related questions....numerious priority, teaching and delegation. I just spoke with a fellow student that took hers the same day and the computer shut off at 75 and she says " I am going to have to be a lpn for the rest of my life......which is not the worst scenerio:) She said I just dont understand how anyone could pass with 75 questions if they only knew 2 of the answers LOL. in any event, thanks to everyone here that can share their experience and comfort us all in knowing that this is one of the most important "tasks" of our lives in addition to helping us all know that we are not crazy but maybe just severly neurotic:) Good luck everyone!

Really is the best advise. It is very hard to predict the outcome. Good luck and hang in there.

Thanks for all your posts. It's comforting to know others like you are going thru or have gone thru the same dilemma. Please keep us all posted on your results. I think for us in California we can find out as early as monday on the nsg boards site. Good luck to us.

Please be aware that the BRN was closed this past Friday, suspect that you may be waiting a wee bit longer. As well as the fact that the average time for CA BRN is ten days, three days is the earliest that we have seen and it can go up to a month.

Do not assume anything until you have received your results and best of luck to all of you that are waiting.

I just wanted to share the good news. I found out this morning that I passed. I am now officially RN, MSN. :balloons:

Congatulations!!

congrats joyce! I just received the news and I PASSED!!! i can't believe my eyes.I'm elated beyond relief. This goes to show you everyone out there that anything is possible thru prayer and hard work. I'm a foreign grad and used the Kaplan course and passed! Good luck to you all in pursuit of your dream!
