Nclex RN February 2017

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Welcome, I enjoyed viewing the January 2017 Topic. This post is for all those who are taking their NCLEX RN in February. Please share how you guys are doing with your review? What materials are you using? Lets do the same and encourage each other. Thanks

@SweetDream I didn't finish them because I ran out of time, not that they weren't helpful. I found the questions similar to the NCLEX but I found the rationales on UWorld more helpful so I preferred to use that as my main study tool!

Thank you so much. I can tell you that tjis waiting sucks.

Took the NCLEX today 2/11. I finished the test in 75 questions. A lot of SATA (didn't keep count), two cardiac rhythm strips, and a couple of pharm questions. Did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. Still skeptical! I just want to see my name on the CA BRN website!

Congratulations

Hi, I started preparing for nclex, hopefully sit in April. Could anyone help me in study material. í ½í¸Š

Uworld is a very good study tool. You def should look into it.

Thanks dear, god bless you

I graduated in 2009, and now its like I forgot everything. Hard to study from beginning. Is uworld sufficient only? How much time do i need to study for nclex?

Don't quit Kaplan! I thought the same thing and was getting frustrated with every question, then it just happened, one day all my Q-Bank scores were 10-15 points higher than my usual... I passed NCLEX with only 49% avg on my Q-bank and ran out of time to complete the entire bank (had 400 q's left).

@ItsChancey- you did not finish the Kaplan qtrainers? Was it because it was not helpful and uworld was better for you? I'm on the verge of ditching Kaplan.

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive a physical copy of your RN license??

UPDATE: Took NCLEX yesterday at 8am and today at 1015 am, I found out that i passed when I looked for my name on the PA BON!! 75 questions in 75 minutes.

Congrats RN!!! I took mine at 1030 today! Shut off at 75 in about 1.5 hrs. I didn't feel bad but I didn't feel great about it either. Trying not to dwell on the questions I got wrong. I did get the good pop up though, so here's to praying I passed too!
