Welcome, I enjoyed viewing the January 2017 Topic. This post is for all those who are taking their NCLEX RN in February. Please share how you guys are doing with your review? What materials are you using? Lets do the same and encourage each other. Thanks
I passed! Took my test on February 11, and when I checked my BREEZE account yesterday, I was listed as an RN with my license number. Test shut off at 75 questions, a little longer than 1.5 hours. I mostly used Kaplan for studying, got between mid 50s-71% on my QTs, 67% on the Readiness Test.
Hello... I just took my NCLEX this morning. It cut off at 76 questions and I thought that was weird. I had an even array of questions. Only multiple choice and sata. I prepared using Lacharity, Kaplan strategies, and also used the Mastery app. I left that place feeling so defeated. Those prioritization questions were way harder than in the Lacharity book. I just did the Pearson trick and got the "good" popup, however, I'm waiting until the morning to find out for sure. I'm in Alabama.
I took my NCLEX on Friday the 17th. I got 75 Q..14- 15 SATA,.1 EKG, 1 exhibit ( i know I got wrong), 1 math and 1 picture (i know I got wrong)...the rest, multiple choice. I feel like I got pretty basic question material, like hypoglycemia pt, myexedema coma, communication, but of course I answered these wrong...I feel like I got so many things wrong....I feel like I failed and I'm very anxious to even for the PVT as I have heard it being false for some people and since I'm already super anxious, I don't want to put myself through a check. I'm still waiting for the email that says the quick results are available.
I wanted to know, when I go onto Pearson and check the exam history, will the status change from "Taken" to my results and in so, in what time period. I figured when I took the test on Friday that I may have to wait till Monday to hear something but Monday is a holiday too so I'm a little perplexed. I'm so frightened. I worked so hard. I did UWorld and only had about 400 questions left in my qbank and got a 90th percentile on the sim exam.
