  1. You did the efm certification before any labor and delivery experience? How was that? How did you prepare and what resources did you use? Seems so intimidating.
  2. Did you get any certifications or joined any associations before applying?
  3. How did you get in your job as a maternity nurse with no experience? I work at a hospital where you bid for positions and it goes based on seniority so there isn't really much I can do other than apply. Just curious about how you got your foot in the door. Eventually, I am willing to change hospitals or state to get the opportunity.
  4. Hey, how's it going? I'm in NJ too and was thinking of relocating. Georgia is on my list.
  5. Any updates on how Piedmont is going?
  6. i didn't get an actual interview, just an email saying they need an essay. I had two sets of Clinicals at NYP.
  7. I got an email interviews are next month and that it starts in November, hmm.
  8. Great! Thank you for your reply.
  9. Did you get to choose a start date?
  10. did you get to choose a start date?
  11. Any tips on how to land a job? You all seemed to get one relatively fast after graduation. Any sites that helped with resume and cover letters? I graduated in January, took my nclex the end of February and I have been searching for a job, not too many calls for interviews.
  12. So you are getting into residency programs? Most places want experience before getting a job. Take the residency.
