NCLEX Result Update

if you read my thread entitled "took nclex yesterday", you know how neurotic and anxious i have been waiting for results. i searched the bon website up and down looking for a way to find out my results without calling them (i know it's a big no-no, but i was getting desperate). anyway, i just randomly started amusing myself by looking through archived bon newsletters. in an old newsletter from 2002, a telephone license verification number was listed. mind you, this number is not listed anywhere on the bon website and i searched every nook and cranny of that site. it said a candidate's license could be verified if they passed the exam after 4 to 6 days. i took nclex yesterday, so i didn't expect to hear anything so soon, but...

i passed!!!!

my license was issued today. i was even able to receive a verification by fax and so i saw my license number, issue and expiration dates, etc. it was the most beautiful sight!!! anyway, i advise you all to check every inch of your bon websites to find a way to find out results soon. my bon does not participate in the quick results from ncs pearson-vue, so that wasn't an option for me. i'm not showing up under the bon license lookup website either, but the bon says it takes about 7 to 10 days before it shows up on their website. the telephone verification is the quickest way to find out. thanks to all of you who shared your experiences and sent words of encouragement and support. for those still waiting for results: hang in there! it's only a matter of time before you get the good news yourselves. we're all smart people who have worked and studied hard to get to this moment, and it will pay off!!!
