Nclex-pn exam with 205 questions!

Hello Everyone! =)

So, I finally took my NCLEX-PN yesterday and maxed out with 205 questions!!!

I couldn't believe it. At first, I was hoping for 85 questions, but as soon as it passed that number, I just kept going and going! I was getting questions from all different subjects and areas! It was crazy. I had A LOT of SATA, priority, teaching/reinforcing, a bunch of pharm but only 3 calculation questions. On the pharm questions, a lot of them, I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT!... and must have gotten questions from every subject possible, LOL. My worst enemies are Med-Surg and Pharmacology. It's a lot to remember! With 205 questions tho, I honestly can't tell you if I feel like I've passed or failed. I'm kind of in between right now. I feel like I got more questions right than I got wrong. I was told that they also look at how long it took you to answer each question. I would believe that it is all based on whether you got a correct answer or incorrect answer. As far as I'm concerned, from what I've read in the Saunders 4th Edition book, because that's where I studied from....they don't score 25 questions out of the total that you had. Is that true? Would that mean that out of 205 questions, they would only score you on 180 questions then? I'm so confused about that.

I've read a lot of posts on here about how many ppl have passed with 85 questions or 205 questions and in between. It honestly doesn't matter how many you answered. It's the certain level of questions you got and how many of them you answered correctly. It all depends on you! I feel like I got a lot more ANALYSIS based questions than APPLICATION ones.

THE TERRIBLE PART IS, I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA! UGH!!! Now I have to wait a month or more to get results back! I had a friend who took it on February 24th and she has to wait for another week to get it and it's already been a month! It's kind of making me sick to my stomach. I can't tell you that I came out of the test center crying or sick....but after thinking about it for the past day here, it's been driving me crazy because even if I didn't pass....I just want to know NOWWWWWWWW lol...that's what's making it worse! GOSH, I hope CALIFORNIA gets their act together and makes it possible for us to someday be able to view our results in 2-3 days just like other states! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS UP WITH THAT?! lolol

Anyway, I'm hoping for the best! HOPEFULLY I PASSED WITH 205 QUESTIONS!

The PVT trick is real! he did not do it properly...My friend did it yesterday and used the money order and got the CC page. She did not follow instruction. She did it the right way eventually and got the good popup! Today she passed! PVT TRICK IS REALL, REAL, REAL!

What's the right way to do it then? If she got to the CC page then how did she do it the wrong way? I'm so confused now....lol...

From what I understand, you go to register and select your exam...you choose the country....answer all the registration questions and then choose the school you graduated from...put in the graduate date....and choose whatever boards of nursing you are seeking licensure from...and then it either takes you to the credit card page or gives you the popup..if you're saying your friend got taken to the CC Page the first time...how did she do it wrong???...what was the right way to do it?? lol....by the way..im not saying the PVT Trick doesn't work...I know for a fact it does but I'm just a little confused as to what you're saying lol

Hello just wondering if you have heard anything from state boards...I also took my test with 205 questions...felt terrible...I didnt cry or anything but i did not feel good about it. A few of my classmates have taken and recieved thier pass/fail in three weeks...today is week four and I fell bad for my poor mailman....I have been home and i soon as is see his truck i run out there.....Just wondering if you have heard anything yet? I took my exam in March, and i had 205 questions.. I found out that i failed :crying2: I am taking it May 5th, and hopefully i will pass this time. I did the "trick" and it took me to the CC page. Don't give up! that is the advise that i'll give you. Even if it takes you 100 tries, don't give it up :)

I'm not going to give up! =) It'll be a few more weeks until I get my official results. California is taking forever. I had a classmate of mine take hers on March 6 and she says she got her results a few days ago...only took like what....7 weeks lolol...sucks...but I already know I'm gonna be retaking the test, so I've been studying. By the time I get the results, I'll need to register and that will take some time to get the paperwork stating I can take the test again. I'll have plenty of time to study. My mind is like a sponge at this point LOLOL

i failed at 85 and passed at 205 my aunt was the exact opposite!!

I took the test on March 24 came home tried the trick, got the pop up and found out yesterday that it worked for me. I passed the LPN test and I was so scared the test was hard!!!!

Im in Nursing school now...what is the The Pearson Vue Trick? I'll take any help I can get!

YOu made my day!!!! I have been reading everybody's comment and I tried the trick too, I just took my test yesterday and they wanted my CC info I was really sad, but still I don't want to believe that it is 100%. Your comment is the only comment here I read that they wanted your boyfriend's CC info and he still passed. I am still hoping and praying I passed I got the max quest 205.
