No I am not part of the staff....I must say I did pass NCLEX on my 1st try...I am now a charge nurse thanks to what I learned at Four D.

Sorry to hear about that. You know after I took my test I realized after I spent so much money on study guides I should have studied the book they gave me while I was in school. I am not sure if you have it or have used it it is called The Human Body in Health and Illness by Herlihy. After I took my test I started going through it and realized this was the only book I would have needed. Let me know if you have it....If not I would be nore than happy to send it to you. I just got my results on Wed and I passed nclex.....I am glad it is over, the wait was horrible!!!! Keep pressing on, Dont give up!!!!:)

The info on the post may be from only one person. I myself has a wonderful experiance at Four D college. I graduated the LVN program n Sept 2009. I myself and my class and a total of three different instructors. I had two different theory instructors and two different clinical instructors during my 18 months in the program. And I will say I had the BEST instructors they have there. I was blessed. School is what you put into it. Just because one person had a bad experiance, all wont have the same. I believe i received the best education out there. After school was over the prepared me very well for the NCLEX. They fallow up with me, and email and call to see if I need help looking for work. I have never heard of where the other person you went to clinicals.....I actually did some of mine at a SNF and also at the ER and L&D at Arrowhead. The school is a school and the will run into problems....they are not perfect.....I myself fif not research any other schools in the area....I was convienient for me because I lived right down the street....I did move 35 miles aways 1/2 way though school....I did not mind driving the distance.... so don.t let what other people say and the problems they ran into deter you form enrolling here. I am sure there are many, many sucess stroies that come out of here that you have not heard of.....If you are wondering....I have not received my NCLEX results yet....But i must say around 15 of my classmates have passed NCLEX and are now Lic Vocational Nurses....THANKS to what Four D has taught them....:redbeathe:yeah:

Well lets see...I have heard this so often. I am a new grad LPN at that. I am older as well some of my classmates were 20-25 years younger than me. All I can tell you is never give up. There is always hope!!:redpinkhe Keep pressing on....I will keep you in my prayers....

I think that sounds like a really good idea. Just don't stress out too much, i know it's hard try to relax.....I am sure you will do fine....Let me know how it goes and i will let you know as soon as I get my results. Wed will be the 5th week, so i am sure i have a few more to go.....Untill then good luck and I will keep you in my prayers!!!

I took my nclex pn on March 24. I too studied pharm and lab values.....I got one Pharm question and nothing whatsoever on lab values....It just all depends on what you get....Don't stress too much....I bought and spent money on review books and what i really should of went over was the Herlihy book I used while i was in school. I had alot of priority questions, no math and alot on cushings syndrome. Again you may not have any of these so just relax and take you time with the test...I will pray for you....Please pray for me to as I am still waiting on my results it has already been 5 weeks. Take some time off even if it is just a few hours....Get away by yourself...long walk always works for me.....Once you get your mind clear get back to the books....every time i would get burned out I would always imagine the light at the end of the tunnel. You will be fine, just get some YOU time!!!! Good Luck on finals!!!:flwrhrts:

ok I am gonna put my two cents in now....Dont wait....I have 2 children one with cerbral palsy....Going back to school was the best thing i did....My children are 13 and 6. I was in school for 18 months. To this day my kids will go to school and tell teachers that stydying is very important my 6 year old would tell his teacher my mommy studies at 4 in the morning....I have two boys and I really didnt think they every noticed the studying and homework I was doing but they did....My older son was asked who was his hero and he told his 7th grade class that it was me....he said my mom is older and went back to school. I went back at 38 years old....I did want to wait too....so many people told me get it over with....I took thier advise and did it...I fininshed school and am now pending results of nclex pn. I know it will be hard with kids, school, studying....You may have to miss some baseball games, birthday parties...ect. But in the end it will all be worth it.....Whatever you decide, you will be in our prayers!!! Good Luck!!!!

Hello just wondering if you have heard anything from state boards...I also took my test with 205 questions...felt terrible...I didnt cry or anything but i did not feel good about it. A few of my classmates have taken and recieved thier pass/fail in three weeks...today is week four and I fell bad for my poor mailman....I have been home and i soon as is see his truck i run out there.....Just wondering if you have heard anything yet?
