How long does it take before you can re-take the NCLEX-PN in California?
I just got my results in the mail today and it has been confirmed. I..........DID NOT PASS.........the Pearson Vue Trick is 100%.....and I'm sending in my re-examination paperwork tomorrow or Friday. I'll take the exam again in June. I'm going with a different strategy this time as far as studying. I'll write later on what I'm going to do. I'm not going to let this ruin my life. I have to admit, I'm a little bummed just like anyone else would be, but I'll live. It also doesn't help when you have your PARENTS stressing you out about it because it's not like you can do anything about it RIGHT THIS SECOND..... OH MAN...nightmare LOL Good luck to all!

I totally understand how you feel. I took my test on March 25, 2010 and still waiting. I'm assuming I won't be getting my results until about May 14th or 15th. I called them yesterday and they said that they were working on March 23rd. We'll see, I guess....

Nclex-pn exam with 205 questions!
I'm not going to give up! =) It'll be a few more weeks until I get my official results. California is taking forever. I had a classmate of mine take hers on March 6 and she says she got her results a few days ago...only took like what....7 weeks lolol...sucks...but I already know I'm gonna be retaking the test, so I've been studying. By the time I get the results, I'll need to register and that will take some time to get the paperwork stating I can take the test again. I'll have plenty of time to study. My mind is like a sponge at this point LOLOL Hope all goes well for you guys! Thank you! =)

New passing standard for the NCLEX-RN Examination to Start on APRIL 1, 2010
Good luck to everyone that's taking the NCLEX-RN after the new changes. Like people have been saying all along in this thread, they've just raised percentages in certain areas that they are going to test more on. I would definitely practice those areas as much as possible. Not to say, neglect other areas...study everything obviously.....I wouldn't say that it got necessarily harder. Don't let it scare you and just make sure you study what you need to study. Make a plan. I know I have to make one, LOL...I have to take my NCLEX exam the second time around the end of May or early June, I believe. Good luck! :)

HELP!! expired ATT
I'm actually taking the NCLEX-PN. I'll get to the RN stuff eventually! I plan on going all the way to an NP. =) Darn, I wish I could private message you but I need like 15 posts to do it, I believe. I can explain how I was going to study for it and what I was going to use. I got most of the advice from allnurses.com though. This is the only website that has been keeping me SANE this whole time and motivated. I've found so much help on here, it's crazy! =) In a good way tho!

No problem at all! =) Are you going to take the NCLEX PN or NCLEX RN???

HELP!! expired ATT
I don't know if your nursing school will do it for you or not. You can try asking them to help you fill it out, but you may have to do it on your own. I would definitely go back to your school because there is a certain way they had it filled out that you might not remember, so it'll help. You're paying money for the education, the least they can do is help you right? I know that's what I have to do. It's very annoying to deal with!

HELP!! expired ATT
Hey there! =) Unfortunately, you will have to re-apply and re-register, just the way you did it the first time you took the NCLEX. In California, it takes for a while for them to process stuff so I wouldn't wait another minute to do this. You will have to re-do the application and pay the $75.00 and mail it to the boards. They will send you a letter stating you are eligible to take the NCLEX. After that, get on Pearson and pay the $200.00 for your NCLEX Exam. You'll get the ATT emailed to you once again and then you can schedule your NCLEX exam. I hope this helps! I have to do the same thing tho, because I didn't pass my exam, lol...so yeah, I'm right there with you! Good luck! =)

How long does it take before you can re-take the NCLEX-PN in California?
Hey Everyone. So I took my NCLEX-PN exam on March 25th, 2010 here in CALIFORNIA and found out through the Pearson Vue Trick that I failed. I'm waiting for my results, so that will say it all. But my questions at this point are: How long do I have to wait before I can schedule my exam for the second time? It says on the brochure that it's either 45 or 90 days between each examination. On the NCSBN website, it says the retake policy is 45 days. From what I understand, as soon as I get the results...if I failed...it will have all the paperwork in the envelope for me to re-apply. I called boards and they said that it takes approximately 3-4 weeks for them to process the application, again. Do I really have to re-apply and pay the $75??? or can they re-confirm me because I applied already and I had that letter that said between what dates I am eligible to take the test??? ....it sounds to me like I may end up getting my results around April 22nd - 29th and then I'll have to re-apply and it takes 3 - 4 weeks to process...so that's like May 26th or so.....I probably won't be able to take my test until the beginning of June.....ugh sooo creepy! I honestly am very stressed out and nervous because of the fact that I have to wait so long to retake the test. On the other hand tho, it gives me more of an advantage to really get a grasp of the material and understand it. I know that I should feel pretty good about that, but I'm just so sad lol...I just can't really get it through my head right now. Help please! =) Thank you very much!

Nclex-pn exam with 205 questions!
What's the right way to do it then? If she got to the CC page then how did she do it the wrong way? I'm so confused now....lol... From what I understand, you go to register and select your exam...you choose the country....answer all the registration questions and then choose the school you graduated from...put in the graduate date....and choose whatever boards of nursing you are seeking licensure from...and then it either takes you to the credit card page or gives you the popup..if you're saying your friend got taken to the CC Page the first time...how did she do it wrong???...what was the right way to do it?? lol....by the way..im not saying the PVT Trick doesn't work...I know for a fact it does but I'm just a little confused as to what you're saying lol

Nclex-pn exam with 205 questions!
So you are saying that he tried to register for the test again and he ended up on the Credit Card Payment Page??? He did not get a pop up like everyone else does if they pass? So he ended up on the CC Page and he still passed? WOW interesting... I mean that's just weird because this Pearson Trick is so accurate...wondering how that happened!...

Nclex-pn exam with 205 questions!
WOW, so I did the Pearson Vue Trick....and it took me all the way to the CC page. I forgot that it has nothing to do with the Quick Results. Right now, I'm trying to get over the fact that I pretty much failed. I don't want to believe it, but it's better for me to get over it right now. I know what I need to study, but it sucks because I have to take it over again. I think I'm happier that I found out sooner because I can be prepared for it a lot better when it comes to the time of rescheduling it and getting my ATT again. I won't feel like I'm feeling now. Honestly, there is nothing better than getting your actual results in the mail, but its good to know now. Ugh, so sad =(
