And what would you suggest? The Board holds all the cards.

My suggestion is to frame your actual question into a format that makes it understandable. What is it you are waiting a long time for?

Agreed.
Paid 300 for what? To take the test? That'll happen anywhere, complaining about that would be pointless.
What wait are you referring to? Waiting to take the exam itself, or waiting for the results? You can choose to bide your time however you'd like, studying isn't a bad idea. What good would complaining do? Obviously if you know you're waiting, so is everyone else. They can't control how many people apply to take it. What would your proposed solution be?
Lastly, if you're complaining about the cost, the only way to decrease the wait time would be to employ more people at the testing facility, increase the hours/space available for testing, etc. This would increase the cost greatly...

I have to agree that complaining would just be a waste of time!

I think the OP is saying that CA doesn't participate in quick results--finding out if you passed or failed after 48 hours--while many other states do. In the student forum, the CA students are so very, very anxious having to wait a month or more for their results.

California does not participate in the quick results option, so test takers must wait several weeks to several months before a result arrives by way of snail mail.
And, with the sorry state of California's economy, it looks as if you'll continue to wait. They cannot afford to staff their boards of nursing with more employees. They are actually placing state employees on furlough to save money due to budget shortfalls.
You have the right to complain, but look at the bigger picture.
