does nclex really break up relationships.

I don't think it would break up a relationship worth keeping. I'm sure it adds stress to any relationship, but anyone I'd want to keep would be supportive regardless of whether I pass or fail.

NCLEX does not break up relationships. If ur man or husband can not accept the fact that u r not an LVN then he is not ur man. A true man will be supportive whether or not u r an LVN. Don't feel that u have to pass in order to keep him. Know that u have to pass for u bcuz this is want u want for urself not him.

It's a shakey relationship to start with if that's all it takes to break it up. Nursing school and NCLEX is a very stressful time, but there are bigger issues here. I agree with the above, a true partner in life would offer unconditional support during NCLEX.

Good luck.

While you were preparing for the exam the first time, did you have to sacrifice a lot of quality time with him? Its possible that he could just be frustrated at the thought of having to sacrifice even more time while you prepare for the exam the second time around. Just a thought.

I agree with Tweety; if passing a test is a requirement for keeping your husband, then you may want to rethink your relationship.

Good luck on both the test and your personal life. Take time for yourself.

I truely believe it put stress on the relationship, but he has to be more supportive of you, in this time you really needs his support, because if you are stressed out he is making it harder on you, I wouldn't tell you to leave him, because only you alone knows what you have got, but try to explain to him, he vows to be with you in good times and bad times, so he just has to acknowledge that, take care, so long.

A partner who is only with you through the good times should make you ponder on things about the relationship.

The added stress could put a strain on relationships. But the actual NCLEX does not break up relationships IMO. You may have to rethink the relationship if it's not working out just because of studying for the NCLEX. I'm lucky that even though I'm not married, I have a bf who is very supportive, especially when I was studying for NCLEX, he understood how important the exam really meant to me and was there for me 100%. If you're husband is not doing that, then something is wrong there....I wish you all the best of luck! ((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))
