Hello.I have some questions you want to practice?

Thank you

good luck

Took nclex 3 times. I did the HURST review and most of the Uworld question bank except for 232 questions. Just took nclex again on April 13th...Did not do the PVT trick because I hear if you put in the credit card info. They will charge your card. I refused to spend anymore money on this damn test. Got quick results this morning. I passed at 109 questions. Let me just tell you god is amazing.

hi nikkidelafuente01,

I also had a hard time at first answering SATAs but what Kaplan taught us was to treat each option as a T or F statement. And just a tip, all answers can never be chosen, its usually either 2 or 3 answers. I hope this helps:] God bless!

I wanted to share this post in hopes in bringing assurance, encouragement and affirmation to anyone who are discouraged about their kaplan scores or just the NCLEX in general.

A brief background about me. I took my pre-nursing in california and finished up nursing in the Philippines in 2015. i took sometime to recooperate and then started reviewing. I used a total of 5 sources to study. I just took the NCLEX this past April 13, 2017 and passed (PTL)!! I have been going to this website for a couple of months now and I told myself that when I passed, I will come back here and share my experience in hopes to help someone in this NCLEX journey.

I took the Kaplan In Person Review and it was very helpful. I know that some people have their opinions on kaplan but I just wanted to share from another point of view. I believe that Kaplan set me up for success. It gave me the essential steps and built my stamina in order to face and conquer the exam. I didn't always score high on my qbank/traniers and it really brought me down. But after much support and encouragement from my loved ones, they affirmed me that these qbanks are just TOOLS to help you, it doesnt evaluate you as a nurse. With all honesty, Kaplans' questions are so similar to the NCLEX that while i was taking the exam i felt i was just taking another qbank/trainer. You don't necessarily have to score above 60% but as long as your above 50% i think you will be fine. But of course you must put your part in completing the qbanks, the trainers, remediating the rationales etc. Overall, with combination with faith in God and your constant commitment, dedication and determination, i believe success is attainable and that this exam is indeed passable! Be confident in yourself, Trust God in His leading, and allow Him to show you that He does have a plan for you! know you did your best and walk in the testing center knowing that all things will work out for those who love Him (Romans 8:28)! Don't let anxiety be the cause of failure, but be positive! you will become an RN! God has a plan! Take each question one at a time and soon enough, before you know the screen will shut off and you will leave knowing you did your best. God bless guys, praying for success in this NCLEX journey!

**If you have any more questions regarding tips on how to pass, please do not hesitate to ask!! :]

Hi guys,l need help studying drug calculations.can anyone help me with the various fomulars that l need? I will take any tip out there that works. Thank you

Hi Lamisi,

is there a specific calculation you struggle with? IV, weights etc?

It is always good to also memorize the various units of measurements (ex: kg and lbs) for your conversions.

the basic formula that I would use drug/med calculations is D/A X Q

D stands for the desired dose

A stands for the available dose

Q stands for quantity

hope this helps:]

This is not true. NCLEX can now have SATA with all questions answered, at least, this was noted on the UWorld. This is new I believe.

I took my NCLEX on April 5 and I passed with 88 questions. I studied for ~2 months; 1 month with Saunders + RN Mastery (for core content review) and Prioritization and Delegation by LaCharity (doing only case studies MC's).... then 1 month purely on Uworld.

UWorld was by far the best thing I've ever seen. Many of my other friends used Hurst, but its way too expensive. I felt like I had a couple of questions on UWORLD that looked very similar to some NCLEX questions - so I honestly could say I might not have passed the NCLEX if it weren't for UWORLD because it was so similar.

Saunders MC and RN master MC's do not mimic NCLEX style questions very well. They are good for core content review. Uworld is good for true NCLEX style practice questions.

Oh well if thats true then thats good to know they just added that in. I also just took it last week and for me, I mean, it turned out just fine haha I was taught that by instructors who use to write for the NCLEX so I was just sharing what I knew:)

My average is a 51.6 overall on uworld and I am testing Tuesday. Praying that I do well

Hi Wildstar ,you will do well .what are your scores on self assessment 1$2?i had an average of 49% with a very high chance of passing on self assessment 1$2 and passed my Nclex RN with 78 questions on April 10th.Wish you all the best

Hi Wildstar2001,

I wish you all the best. Be confident, think things through but don't second guess yourself. More often than not, your educated guess or subconscious will pick the right answer if you can't really tell. Relax, you have got this.

Let us know how it goes.
