Hi all!! I took my nclex exam for California board yesterday by 2pm and I got 75 questions. I waited till evening to do the Pearson vue trick but even when I am putting the username and password correct it says sign in information is incorrect. Tried resetting new passwords still I am not able to log in:( please help!!

Any luck with getting your results? I took my NCLEX (CA) yesterday at 8am... I'm a nervous wreck since we can't do quick results!!!

i am having a hard time answering my SATA( select all that applies) questions =( can anyone suggest a good technique?? i feel really bad ..

It only covers 2013 to 2016 exam as ncsbn change their test pool every three years. Thats as far as I've read. Some of the topic on 6th ed may not be covered on the 7th ed. Dont be afraid to spend $54 and tax. I tell you its a good investment. New test plan is april 1 2016 to march 2019

Nikki,

What I did to get better at sata was to practice as many as possible. Saunders has over 500, and I selected only those and made a point to finish the whole thing. What I learned was: it is important to approach the question with a good understanding of the disease process or an open mind I would say. For example, a disease symptom can be hypotension, which will translate into decreased cardiac output or cause dizziness or for the patient. All these will be part of the answers, if you open your mind to what else can be happening because of what you know. Most of the choices I was leaving out were those types of answers, and that is because I was limiting my thinking.

So practice as many as possible, and for each, read the rationale and try to understand why some choices were left out or the wrong ones were picked. On the long run, you will slowly get a better hang of it.

I hope this helps a little.

I am new to all nurse and wanted to share how I was able to pass the Nclex exam. I graduated in 2015 and took the exam as soon as I could after nursing school. I failed the first time in 186 questions and got pretty down seeing how ati gave me an 87% chance of passing and I still failed. I decided to do the Kaplan program. I didn't watch a single video or read any material. I did all the Q trainers and about 800 questions on the Q bank. A week ago I passed in 131 questions. I am the worst test taker and if I can pass the exam, I promise doing tons and tons of questions you will pass. Oh and I took the predictior at the end of kaplan and got a 65%. I think my story shows that you don't have to do much review or reading just stick to doing questions. Sorry about the long post and I hope that reading this gives you a feeling of confidence coming from this guy who literally barely got through half the classes throughout nursing school and I was still able to get it done lol! good luck to all of you guys!

Hi I got the good pop up but then I wasn't much relieved with that so I checked after two days I have breeze account they updated my status and I got my license number😊

Congrats Nurseforlife :up::saint:
