Hello everyone ,I'm new to this site .I am a foreign nurse planning to take Nclex on April 17th.I have already registered with my BON.I did Kaplan and Just finished Uworld ..my scores in Kaplan ranged between 40-50 and I had a 59% on the readiness test which I just took and a 66% on self assessment test 1 on Uworld which places me on a very high chance of passing according to their site .Is anyone else taking Nclex April or anytime soon ?what materials are u using??how do u know u are well prepared for the exam ?looking forward to hearing from you guys .thanks
Hi Georwise,
i am am a little confused, I thought the minimum questions was supposed to be 75?
For pvt you go through all the steps to register. For my lpn it stopped me right before the payment page, and said contact your board member. This time around, after the hold was removed on my results, the trick took me all the way to payment, I entered my card infos ( everything correct, no false expiration date) and when I submitted it said: records indicates that you recently took this exam and cannot schedule another one at this time.
I think that is good pop up also because I went ahead and paid for quick results and it said pass.
still I am a bit confused as to why it would stop at 68. Wasn't it a computer problem?
Georwise,
Pearson vue will not email anything. If your state participates in the quick results, you should be able to purchase it 48 hours after your exam. My state (DC) takes forever to update anything, and my license status still says pending at this time; so that is why I went ahead after the good pop up and paid the $7 for quick results just to ease my mind.
I would say the PVT is pretty reliable, since it worked for my lpn and worked again this time.
I think you will receive a mail from your board of nursing, but I don't know how long that takes. Usually, some states will update your license status online long before you receive the mail. Some as early as the day after you passed. So you can also check your board of nursing website for any update from tomorrow, depending on how it works where you are.
Hello, I will be taking my exam this June 2017. I'm currently reviewing Saunder's 6th edition Comprehensive Review. I would like to know if you recommend it? Is it still reliable? I don't have other review materials at present. Would be happy to hear from your suggestions and study tips if you have any. Thanks a lot!:)
Georwise
