Hello everyone ,I'm new to this site .I am a foreign nurse planning to take Nclex on April 17th.I have already registered with my BON.I did Kaplan and Just finished Uworld ..my scores in Kaplan ranged between 40-50 and I had a 59% on the readiness test which I just took and a 66% on self assessment test 1 on Uworld which places me on a very high chance of passing according to their site .Is anyone else taking Nclex April or anytime soon ?what materials are u using??how do u know u are well prepared for the exam ?looking forward to hearing from you guys .thanks
I sat for my nclex on the 4th of dec 2017. I went to Nursing School in Kenya and later immigrated to the us, the process of evaluating my credentials was long, expensive and a true test to my faith. I prayed to Almighty God oftenly to grant me success because i have always wanted to be a nurse, around Oct i finally received my authorization to test and boy, wasnt I excited, I was also nervous because for some reason i was only given 1 chance to sit for the Nclex. So the due day, i woke up super early, i was nervous but i had comfort that the Almighty God whom i have always placed my hope and confidence in would help me. My exam was at 8am, took me a little over 2hours, computer shut down right after tge 75th question. I felt like that wasnt enough questions, as i got over 20 satas. I also had to do a bunch of research quizes thereafter, i went home prayed, cried. The 48hrs wait time was brutal, on 6th of dec, i did the quick results and wow! I had passed nclex, i was overjoyed, i was very very happy. I used Saunders, Uworld and remar review for the nclex, i put in alot of hardwork too, but I attribute all my success to God, He helped me, He did it for me. Be encouraged, you can do this! I had been out of nursing school for almost 4yrs. Work hard and keep your faith and hope alive.
