  1. Just got my email, lol it went to the junk ??‍♀️. I’m accepted ?
  2. I didn’t submit any recommendation letter . It wasn’t required.
  3. I’m applying for the bsn-msn for now; with goal to continue with dnp later.
  4. Happy to know you got it on time kalynn91. Hopefully by end of August and early September we will know.
  5. Kalynn91, you won’t need any more paperwork for the supplemental application. Just have to re-enter all the colleges attended. You will also need your NursingCAS number and date your application was verified. The rest is just demographics and $100 fee.
  6. My last transcript was received on 6/14 and I got the email that my application was verified on 6/18. So if all your transcripts have been received and confirmed at this point, I think it will be verified well before the 15th.
  7. Thank you, that’s the second one I was getting. I will go ahead and fill it out. Now on to waiting time ?.
  8. Hi ChesRN, my NursingCAS application just became ‘verified ‘ and I am applying for spring 2020 fnp as well. I am just a little confused with the supplemental application. I got two different forms, one is an online pdf form to fill out from USA, and the other is on the school site. Which one did you fill out? thank you for your answer
  9. Hi Hildog, I would go ahead and apply using the link provided and that post. When you're applied at the beginning of the year, it was the same post I used. After they send you the test, if they want you to come in for an interview they will still ask for your areas of interest. From there, let you know if there is no opening in the area chosen. At least that is how it went for me.
  10. Hi Wildstar2001, I wish you all the best. Be confident, think things through but don't second guess yourself. More often than not, your educated guess or subconscious will pick the right answer if you can't really tell. Relax, you have got this. Let us know how it goes.
  11. Congrats Nurseforlife
  12. Nikki, What I did to get better at sata was to practice as many as possible. Saunders has over 500, and I selected only those and made a point to finish the whole thing. What I learned was: it is important to approach the question with a good understanding of the disease process or an open mind I would say. For example, a disease symptom can be hypotension, which will translate into decreased cardiac output or cause dizziness or for the patient. All these will be part of the answers, if you open your mind to what else can be happening because of what you know. Most of the choices I was leaving out were those types of answers, and that is because I was limiting my thinking. So practice as many as possible, and for each, read the rationale and try to understand why some choices were left out or the wrong ones were picked. On the long run, you will slowly get a better hang of it. I hope this helps a little.
  13. Congrats!!!! Georwise.
