Hi Everyone, I am a Liberal Arts student at NCC right now and interested in "Change of Program" to Nursing for Spring 2021. I have almost all the Pre-reqs done with 3.7 GPA. Only thing I worry about at this moment is the TEAS Exam. I did not take the TEAS yet and due to the COVID-19, there's no any test date available in my area. Do you guys know if they would consider my application without the TEAS? Please let me know if you know anything about this situation. Thank you

Math 90
Science 84
grammar 66
reading 61
that was my third time taking it. One of my highest scores. Should I repeat it again? IDK
my GPA is 3.2 I’m currently taking micro hope to get a high grade to raise my GPA.
Wow 3 times. Just curious what score did u get the first 2 times? This was my 2nd time. First one I got 67 (boo), the individual subject grades were good but science was under 58.7(what ncc wants).
This time around I got 72.7% total. All individual scores above 58.7%. I would have liked to get closer to your 76 ideally, but im hoping my grades make up for it. I have mostly As in the prereqs, especially the sciences.
Hello everyone,
Fall 2020 was my first semester at NCC. I currently have an Assoc degree from LaGCC. And submitted my change of program to nursing Dept for Spring 2021.
I took the TEAS and got a 75% overall, and

I am not a Nassau resident and I finished all courses except Bio medical and pathology, they were all full at the time I register for fall 2020. I’m constantly worrying if I’ll get a seat for Spring 2021. Esp since I didn’t take BioMedical or Patho as yet. The Nursing Dept said they will be sending out emails mind November. I’m so nervous and scared at the same time.

I applied to the nursing program, GPA is 3.35 and TEAS overall was a 82. I applied for the evening and I’m super nervous as well, being that evening has fewer seats. Especially with COVID, I’m curious how much that affects the seating. Hope everyone here gets in! ??
Hi,
I do hope we all get in for Spring 2021. congrats on your TEAS excellent score. I applied for the evening. And from what I read; the evening have fewer seats. I should have applied for the day session. It’s my first attempt and I super excited, yet nervous. I don’t think COVID have a huge effect on the candidacy selection, as it did in the beginning of this year. However, it will be interesting to see how the class and labs will be conducted during remote learning.
October is almost finished. On the change of program form it stated we would get responses by Nov 1st. But past threads suggested longer wait time

Hi JGVargas
how is it going in the nursing program? Can you give us a little feedback on what we should be expecting?

Hey! Right now we are taking ESC courses. The History class is pretty writing intensive. We are moving into NUR 101 in the Spring semester.
