Yes they said if you are doing change of program from non-matriculated to nursing then you can send everything to the nursing e-mail. If you have any questions about the admission process you can always e-mail them prior to applying.

Yeah the next one is mid-September.

7 currently. I was unable to register for Patho and Micro since I'm completing A&P 2 in the Fall. hopefully my grades are good enough.

How do you directly apply the Nursing Program if you are currently a student?

It says - If you are currently attending NCC as a matriculated student:
Apply directly at the Nursing Department (Life Sciences Building, Room 319) during the application....

You’ll have to do it through the nursing e-mail (unless they are available in office during the fall). There will be a change of program form you have to fill out & then you can attach your transcripts / other material needed.

Hi everyone,

Question - I attended an info session a few months back and they didn't mention an evening option. Does anyone know if there's an evening program at NCC? Trying to keep my day job through school. Is anyone else in this same boat?

Another question - does anyone know what the rubric is like for admissions?

I recently took the TEAS & got a 94%!! The pre-reqs I have are Stats-A, A&P 1 and 2-A, comp 1-B+ and 2-A, and psychology-A. Good luck to everyone!! Fingers crossed!

Yes, they have an evening program! I will be applying to the evening program as well.

awesome job on the TEAS!! They look at each individual section and you are scored “points” depending on each section’s score.

you are also awarded points based on your grade on each prereq. you have (the more you have/better grade, the more points you are awarded). You also get points for never being in a nursing program & if you are a Nassau resident.
