Medical Microbiology- A

I got accepted BEFORE they got my Medical Micro and Pathophysiology grades because I just finished those classes in the Spring. I’m not really sure about the point system with the TEAS test, but I think it might be per section. You also get more points for being a Nassau resident

@Goalhunter yes I’m starting this fall! For day program. But you don’t start taking nursing classes right away, you have to take an online Empire College class before you start the nursing class. I was told your chances are a little better if you apply for day since there are more seats.

Hi Everyone, I currently a liberal arts major at Nassau, I plan on applying to NCC nursing program in Fall 2020. I'm currently taking A&P 1 and stats. Do you guys think they would accept me into the program without taking A&P 2 as of yet?? I'm going to take A&P2 in the fall along with ENG102. I'm also taking the TEAS on AUG 3rd.

Hey, I'm not sure if you meant fall 2021? The fall semester deadline for 2020 is already over. Also it's best to take as many prereqs as you can possible. I had a classmate that didn't get in the nursing program. She believes its because she didn't do A&P 2 yet.

I was not, and I believe the next one is in September. Were you able to complete all of your pre reqs?

Right now I have 8/10 done and I'll finish the last 2 in Fall 2020. You?

Mainly just curious what was said. Did they talk about how the admissions cycle has changed due to COVID-19?
