Very crazy. Why email me on Tuesday to say seat open, asked me if I’m still interested, I said yes, then questioned my English but said still possible? tgen I emailed Wednesday Thursday n Friday n no reply from her? my TEAS shouldn’t have been an issue because my application n TEAS was submitted in October. If this was policy she should have mentioned it in October! If they just changed it then that changed shouldn’t have affected me. Plus my score is “proficient”. I feel like taking this higher. Why would she play with my mind like this? N never responded? Smh as of 1/10/21, the website still says TEAS score needs proficient or higher. No details about math n English being min 60%

I got a 70% proficient on TEAS. The counselor told me last week that seat available for Spring 2021 but “they” nursing looking at my English score was low at 58%. And it’s possible I will get in but that was last week n school start tomorrow. I emailed the counselor several times which went unanswered so I guess I’m moving along.

On Monday the admissions emailed me to ask if I was still interested, they had seat open. I replied yes, then she said they concerned about the English it was high 50’s. And it wouldn’t be enough time for to retake now. But I took it at twice at NCC n raised grade. I submitted the revised but still didn’t hear anything

Exactly, proficient was required. Earlier this week I was told that something open up n if I was interested. I said yes. They told me how the nursing concerned about the English portion which I scored 58%. But it’s still likely I get in. Yesterday the admission rep told me the new criteria is 70% overall n 60% in English n math is required. but my application was already in prior to this sudden change in policies. I applied in October n was waiting to find out if any seats was available. during my admission review process I don’t know why they didn’t tell me this at that time.

My score was 62.4 n 66 in each subject now they telling me the raise it to 70% n reading n math need to be higher. and now some seats apparently open and suddenly they claim the TEAS policies are now higher. And during my application process it was acceptable. Still waiting on them to tell me if I can start Spring. So unorganized.

I’m not sure. I just submitted my docs to Monroe and waiting to hear if they have a spot fir me in Spring 20201. If not I will be going in for fall 2021. But I need help/advice with the essay? Is it really the make or break decision? And was there an oral interview? I’m nervous about that.

Thank you for your positive response. But my first application and rejection hit me hard. I got a 75% on TEAS and really good grades n GPA yet Nassau told me that it’s highly competitive and the TEAS score could be higher, that is why I’m nervous. And I don’t want to take it unless told to do so because it can become the issue of me taking it too soon for second time. So I’ll wait to hear what the advisor suggest. but I really hope I get a chance at my dream. Nassau application who got accepted had up until 12/4 to accept or decline the seat. So I’m not sure if there is a small window where I still have a shot this week to hear from Nassau. ??♀️
