Hi everyone!
I just recently applied to nursing cohort 38 starting next April in San Diego. I'm currently waiting for my teas and essay date. I'm so anxious to find out if I've been accepted or not but I've been told we probably won't find out until January or February! Is there anyone who is in the same boat as me? Hope to receive some replies on here! :)
Hi everyone!
I also applied for the April Cohort! Anxiously awaiting the results! Anyone willing to share what y'all scored on your TEAS? I only see a few scores posted. I got an 84.7%. It's not a 91%, but I'm feeling pretty good about it... Also wondering what your GPAs are??? Mine's about a 3.5. Not feeling too confident about my essay, just hoping it's all enough to get in!
KGCaligirl - I couldn't find the page on facebook. Would you be able to post a link?
hello everyone !!!! good luck to all of you. I will be applying in Jan 2014 for the July cohort. So far i have a 4.0 in my sciences and biostats. I have 2 weeks left of physio and currently have an A so hopefully i keep it. Im nervous about the TEAS and essay. I am going to take it in Jan at a facility in Anaheim to see how I do. Hopefully I do well the first time because doing the essay and Teas in one day seems like a lot.
Hi everyone!
I guess we are all on the same boat... waiting.
Jujubees... I am with you. I am worried about my essay. My question was the one about the personal conflict. Probably the easiest one of all that everyone has mentioned. I don't feel I did that great. I am hoping for at least a 2.5 out of 5 on it.
I started studying for the TEAS right after applying on Oct. 18 and took it on Nov. 26. So that was approximately 6 weeks. I used the Mc Graw Hill book, ATI manual, and Youtube (Khan Academy, Penguin Prof, Bozeman Science,etc...). The Mc Graw Hill book was not very useful. All you really need is the manual and youtube. I scored 74% on my first ATI online practice test, studied some more and got an 87% on the second one. During the actual TEAS, I ran out of time on the English section and had to guess about 8 out of 48 questions but had 15 minutes left in each of the other sections. I guess I could have timed the English section better.
So I am sitting here waiting like everyone with a 4.00 GPA and an 88% on the TEAS. Nervous about my essay.
Hoping the wait won't be longer than it has to. Good luck to all. Anything is possible with enough desire, hardwork, and persistence.
Hi everyone!!! I also applied to Cohort 38. This whole waiting game is kiiiiiiilling me! Does anyone know if they give you your essay score or do they just let you know if you're in or not…. Also, someone said they made a Facebook page for Cohort 38? I can't find it. I'm so excited and nervous. I read in another thread on here that one girl kept checking her application status on SOAR and it said 'accepted.'
Good luck everyone!

Jennaready86, did you email them and ask them when we would find out? Or did they just sent you an email saying that? Because I didn't receive anything from them!
