National University BSN April 2014 Cohort

Hi everyone!

I just recently applied to nursing cohort 38 starting next April in San Diego. I'm currently waiting for my teas and essay date. I'm so anxious to find out if I've been accepted or not but I've been told we probably won't find out until January or February! Is there anyone who is in the same boat as me? Hope to receive some replies on here! :)

hi again everyone, until now i haven't received any invitation from NU to take the TEAS and essay exam. For those who already did, how long did it took for you to receive the invitation/schedule? i applied 2 weeks ago. Thank you! :-)

lyfhckr, I applied on October 15 and received my test date within a week of applying. Which cohort did you apply to?

It took me a few weeks to receive a testing date. I did not realize that people can still apply for the April 2014 cohort. You may want to confirm your application went through on your SOAR page and then clicking on "Nursing" in the left hand column. Hope that helps. If it says submitted under the correct cohort then you should be ok and just need to wait longer. :)

i checked my submission and it said "submitted" for April 2014 cohort...still reviewing for TEAS....anxiety makes it hard to concentrate :-(

How did everyone do on the essay and TEAS? Now it is a waiting game : )

Did pretty good on the TEAS and so/so on the essay. I think I have a good chance of making it but we shall see. How about you?

I did ok on the TEAS and I felt like the essay went well. Going to keep my fingers crossed ;)

I did better my second time on the teas. I was so happy :) my essay prompt was so difficult! I got the one about how nursing is a science and art. I hope I did well on it. I'm really praying that we all get in! All we can do now is wait... But in the meantime I hope everyone enjoys their holidays!!! These next two months will fly by sooner than you think! Again, goodluck and keep in touch :)

Hi SDCaligirl, I had the same essay prompt. Not my favorite essay topic. Congrats on doing better the second time on the TEAS. :up: Shall we share our TEAS score?

My essay questions was about how I would contribute to the nursing profession, different than your guys essay question. I tried to search for that Facebook page but it said no results found. It is private?

I made a mistake :-) i thought i applied for the April cohort but when i checked again this morning it was for the July cohort LOL

i already emailed the nursing dept. regarding my TEAS and Essay sched. letting them know i applied last month :-)
