I have my own private clean bathroom at night.

Having everyone point out that "I am male, and a nurse."...sigh...

The 2:356 Male:Female ratio in nursing school! We have an almost all male crew on nights in our ICU, but our tech is a girl named Rose, I like telling her she is the Rose amongst the thorns!

I had to tell someone once that I was a nurse. they responded, "oh.. a male nurse?'

"nah bruh... a female nurse" .

I went to Nursing school in the 70s. I remember being envious of the males in my class (all both of them lol) because they didn't have to wear that stupid flippin' cap!!

Lol my Nursing Class started out with 3 boys and ended with me the last one standing but, I don't mind working with females for the rest of my career

meeting other male nurses and making crude jokes that otherwise wouldn't go over so well. There are plenty of female nurses that can be raunchy and inappropriate like myself but you really have to seek those out. One bad joke can definitely change the entire nature of a work relationship, whereas i've never felt that was the case with my fellow bro-murses haha
