Hi everyone !!! After 5 years I finally decided to pick up where I left off. Time to apply for nursing school
Application period is July 1st - September 1st. I'm coming in with 54 points pre-HESI. Just wanted to wish anyone else out there applying to Mt. SAC good luck with the HESI tomorrow
I have yet to see a thread on this particular application period for Mt. SAC so I hope many more join this thread as we proceed with this tedious journey.
@everykindofblue yea we've gone through 5 directors in my time at the hosp bc of the same bull and paperwork. That's an awesome plan, we need more nursing educators out there
@everykindofblue and @nataliekorn. No just really liked the shirt lol plus my sis is an alumni from their RT program so I figured she can have it if I change my mind
PS so I have concluded not many students at mt sac know they are no longer wait listed . I asked an old friend who attends mt sac some questions and to my surprise he didn't know this changed. Then I asked the girl at the bookstore some questions who happened to be a pre nursing major and she too had no idea she was already looking elsewhere. What we stumbled upon is a hidden gem !
PS I hashtagged my pic and then looked at other mt sac nursing school tags looks like they rotate between citrus valley, queen of the valley, Silverado something . That's all I was able to see thus far. Tempted to follow one of them and bombard with questions or Better yet buy their old books
I too am surprised the school didn't inform past students who were on the wait list about the change, but no complaints on my end, competition is already rough with all of you as candidates haha.
As for cute uniforms being necessary, white is not very flattering on a chubby Asian man haha, plus it gets too dirty, my scrubs get dirty a lot, and it's like dark blue, and I still see stains .

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement everyone, and @barcode, yea the alternate schools I applied at are muy muy expensive, but if I can get my RN faster and start work and go to school two times a week online for my MSN after that, not too bad life management wise, fiscally, I figure working as a nurse and not spending any money, I can pay off student loans in two to three years most. :) Well, either way I just need one school to accept me, haha.
