Hi all,
Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?
Thanks!

Harlem got a lot better and its fine in daylight, but the main concern is 125th and lexington is one of the worst train stations. It is a major drug spot and have a lot of homeless and crazies walking around the station. It is a major deterrent for me but I dont have many options since I havent finished my prerequisites. I’m thinking of driving there, or hopefully travel in a group if someone lives around me.

I wonder if classes will continue to be online or on campus due to covid
I have been giving this a lot of thought and I think I may do patho.

I honestly want Mt. Sinai more because it is cheaper and the clinicals are better BUT the commute is a HUGE deterrent for me. Would be close to 2 hours each way, and that area is a bit shady. I’m curious if everyone is accepting a seat or deterred by the new location at all?
CONGRATS again everyone! We’ve all worked very hard to make it here! ?
Is Wagner more expensive than PSON ?

Take both pharm and patho if you can! Don’t worry so much about the due date for the transfer of pre/coreqs. Just make sure you communicate that with them.. I know people who were still sending their grades in the beginning of our first semester. Hope this helped!
For anyone who is already enrolled for pathophysiology through Portage Learning, how long/dense is one module? How long did it take you to complete module 1? The syllabus states that each module should take about two weeks to complete. I’m concerned I won’t be able to fully take in the information and complete the course in time.

We have to take it through the American Heart Association and they are still allowing people to register for the certification. So they’re probably still offering it.

Hi @sha17! Are you coming from Staten Island by any chance? I ask because I am from there and I have the same commuting concerns! I also got into Wagner LOL
