  1. I’m not too worried. I don't think the situation will be that bad by fall, hopefully down by a few-hundred cases a day. If the situation is still bad, I’m pretty sure we will have classes online. As far as I know, we don't have clinicals till the second semester.
  2. As far as I know, NYU is closer to 90-100k?
  3. Harlem got a lot better and its fine in daylight, but the main concern is 125th and lexington is one of the worst train stations. It is a major drug spot and have a lot of homeless and crazies walking around the station. It is a major deterrent for me but I dont have many options since I havent finished my prerequisites. I’m thinking of driving there, or hopefully travel in a group if someone lives around me.
  4. Was accepted without an interview. I am a career changer, no healthcare experience.Have a 3.4 cuMulative. CONGRATS everyone!
  5. Just confirmed that they accept pharmocology and pathophysiology from portage!
  6. I suppose if we stay in groups it should be fine. ?
  7. No interview. But I did talk to Maria Gallo alot, she gave my some tips on the application. She liked me a lot, so maybe that helped? But she recently resigned. is there a facebook/whatsapp group for fall 2020 cohort?
  8. Hi, I got an email!
  9. Just received my acceptance letter today! Have a couple more prerequisites to complete though. anyone worried about the neighborhood that this school is in? Heard the 125th station is bad. From my research, Nyu is about 90-100k. Mt sinai is about 55k...
  10. Thank you! I didn’t know about clep exams. Ill look into them!
  11. Getting started with this process, the nursing programs I've looked into all have different prerequisites besides the basic science classes (a&p, chem, bio). Some have as little as 5 classes, some have 10 prereqs. The program I'm most interested has 6 classes I need to take. How should I proceed? Should I try to take as many prerequisites as I can and apply to multiple programs?
