Hi all,
Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?
Thanks!
The Transfer Assessment form mentions that all credit transfers must be completed before July 1, 2020. If any of us decide to take pharm/patho, does that mean we need the final grades for the course by July 1st? I’ve noticed that the pharm/patho courses on Portage have 100+ days listed on the syllabi, which is over 3 months. Therefore, we probably won’t receive our final grades by that date.
@nursing_anjum Hi, I just registered the Pathophysiology last night. On the syllabus, it says that student allows completing the class with our desired pace. However, the minimum time to complete the class has to be three weeks. Overall, if we really want to finish the class early, one month should be enough. My two cents.

Gotcha, thank you ?

Patho and Pharm aren't required, but they are optional co-requisites. You can always just take them in the program, but you have the choice of taking them before classes begin in August (they need to be completed by July 1st though)

Is the syllabus 100+ days of work ? How many modules do you see ?
Just received my acceptance letter today! Have a couple more prerequisites to complete though.
anyone worried about the neighborhood that this school is in? Heard the 125th station is bad.

Also, does anybody know where we can find the tuition cost for both schools?
Thanks!
From my research, Nyu is about 90-100k. Mt sinai is about 55k...

@queenslimmm the deposit fee is $500.
For people who had taken Pathophysiology and pharmacology through Portage Learning, would you mind to sharing your experience with that?
