I do get cold easily. The scrubs in the hospital aren't going to be warm enough for me.
I was wondering if it was generally frowned upon to wear an undershirt thats maybe a 3/4 long sleeve under my scrubs to stay warm.

Nope - everyone does it.
Thank you for the speedy reply! Is there a good brand to get of these for men? I was looking in target, couldnt find anything that would be comfortable for under scrubs. Either the material was way to thick or way to thin. :) Thanks so much!

Generally no, not frowned on at all. I mean, you might want to check your own hospital's policy for what is acceptable and all, but generally no, that is never a problem. You may also be allowed to wear a white lab coat. Maybe?
I feel for ya, I usually get cold easily as well.
The lab coat that my school allows us to wear, is very cheap material and it makes my arms itch
So my only option is to find some good undershirts with 3/4 sleeves.
Thanks for the nice reply

I constantly freeze at the hospital too. I usually wear a heavier shirt underneath my scrubs, and tights with heavier ski socks. It makes a big difference compared to just a light shirt underneath.

There was a similar thread not so long ago, maybe several weeks. Another poster was looking for brand recommendations. Maybe you have time to search around this forum? My suggestion would be silk/silk blend or maybe that new high-tech fiber you see athletes wearing. Good luck finding what you need!
Im gonna look for it now Thats a great idea! Thanks so much ^^

You may want to check with your school because ours wouldn't let us wear anything that stuck out below our short sleeve uniforms. I freeze also but other than when I was just standing around observing in the OR where it is very chilly they had me running around so much I was more often sweating like a man.

Try Land's End's products. A bit pricey, but last forever.

I just go to the dollar store and buy fruit of the loom white t shirts. I think it looks a lot better because scrubs can cut pretty low in the front.
