Hello,
I've been searching through the message boards and I just can't find much information on people who go/have gone to the nursing program at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was wondering...what was your entering GPA? What was your NET score? How did you like it? What hospitals did the school use for classes? Do you feel like you got a good education there?
Thanks so much!
Sarah
you guys can take pharm in a community college and transfer coz it's cheaper, dunno about patho tho if u can transfer, double check on that, yeah the 1st semester is usually, intro, health ass, and patho. so if u already did patho n intro be4 going into the program then u have only health assessment, that gives u space to include few of the core. Economics is pretty easy so it won't hurt to include that if u need 12 credits or 13. if u r core complete from another school dont take economics or any other core in MSU. gOOD LUCK GUYS I HAD GOOD TIMES IN MSU THO DESPITE THE HUSTLE

Hey there, I looked at the transfer list for pharm on the admissions page, and I didn't see the college you mentioned anywhere on there, would you mind being a little bit more specific on where we could take it and where on the mwsu site where they say they will accept it from that particular school?? I just don't want to go and take Pharm somewere else and then MSU won't accept it, especially when this is one of the courses we have to pass at MSU to progress to 3rd semester, thanks....
Ms. Roberts teaches Pharm, Is she still there? Go talk to her coz i had already taken pharm before i came to MSU and i did not want to take it again ( took it at Brookhaven) Talk to the instructor. After i talked to the instructor she requested the course description from me which i provided from my school, then she requested Rudy to give me credit for it, Talk to the instructor. Dunno about patho tho.
Hi huggiebear,
Talk to the instructor, unless they haven't changed the rules i remember after my pharm was accepted most pple in my class took pharm during summer break somewhere else and then they showed. Ms. Roberts the transcripts. But inquire from the instructor not Rudy if she/he will accept pharm from a community college.
I met with Cat again yesterday and she also told me that they would not accept pharm and path courses from another school. She did say that I can taking Nursing Statistics in Spring, as long as I have it completed before Nursing Research. Does anyone know if there is a Statistics course available at TCC that MSU will accept. Maybe I can get that one out of the way in the Summer and then in the Spring focus on Basic Nursing and Pharm. It sounds like Pharm is pretty rough, so I might need all the extra study time I can get.

I've been following these forums but just decided to register today. You may want to check on the stats class because I was told the other day that if I had not already taken it I had to do it the first semester. However, in the second semester you only have like 2 nursing classes so if you need 12 credits you'll need to take 2 classes anyways so you could always take economics during this semester.
