Hello,

I've been searching through the message boards and I just can't find much information on people who go/have gone to the nursing program at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was wondering...what was your entering GPA? What was your NET score? How did you like it? What hospitals did the school use for classes? Do you feel like you got a good education there?

The Hesi and the Hesi A2 are different tests. The hesi A2 is general knowledge stuff and the Hesi you take in nursing school is much harder and is related to actual nursing.

I would go ahead and send the HESI in, not sure if it will help your chances of getting in, but in the last semester of Nursing School at MWSU, you have to take the Hesi to graduate, maybe they will let you use that to not take it again, again not sure what the policy is on it, and from my understanding being Wait listed is much better than a rejection letter, at least you still have a shot of getting in.....

I received my letter but I've been waitlisted. I applied to other schools as well and still waiting for their letters.

I sent MWSU my NET test which wasn't great. I recently took the HESI (made a 90) and I wonder if I should send it now even though I've received my letter?

Justjen2010.....What was your Point on the point system and GPA.

I also applied but i have not got my letter yet. Really anxious

Hi, i got my letter from them and i did get in but i am gonna decline since i got into a school in Houston so hopefully that opens up a spot for someone.

If you go to mwsu.edu and click on the bookstore you can figure out what textbooks you will need and the approximate price as well!

Hi, i have been waitlisted, and i think am 3rd or something, but for those that were accepted and want to decline, when is the deadline for them to do so?. Or when is the date for everyone to accept/decline?. I want to know when to go to the school or call them to follow up.

Ashley, if I remember right today is the last day for people to accept or decline. Theres also a meeting in July and if anyone doesn't show up than they automatically lose their spot as well.
