I would, but mine run EVERY Friday in the fall and spring. Oh, and they go swimming EVERYDAY at the end of the school year.

Have a preconference with your PE teachers
Repeat after me, Teachers: a student who is out of breath after running needs to rest and drink water. They do not need to see the nurse. I will send students with asthma to use their inhaler BEFORE running. I am an adult with a college education who knows that heavy breathing is expected after exertion.

That was a great read - those comments are hilarious! It is crazy that the kids spend all year messing around in PE and then once or twice a year are forced into such vigorous exercise that they all feel they are dying!
