Microbiology, Summer 2010

I am starting this thread for all of us who are taking Micro over the summer.

We just started last week, I am pretty excited. For me, the biochemistry can get a bit fuzzy but the rest of it is fascinating. I am looking forward to this class.

im taking it as well, starts next wednesday. its a 10 week course,im nervous but excited! i like learning new things,esp. things that seem challenging:eek:. i am taking chem.111 as well,have to say I'm not too excited about that one! these are my last two non-nursing classes and im done! heres hoping I get in this fall:nurse:.if i dont.....well,im not thinking about that right now....

Im taking micro this summer as well. Class runs from June 1st to July 20th, lecture 3 nights a week, 6-8, lab 2 nights 8-11! YIKES! I'm also already in nursing school, hopefully this will go by fast so I can have an actual break in August! Good luck everyone!

I'm also taking Micro this summer. My class doesnt start until June 21st. It will be my first experience with a lab class. I'm just now starting my prereqs for the nursing program. Hoping to get into the nursing program next fall..

We are using this for my online portion of micro. I think its a nice supplement.

Thanks for the link- I've been looking for audio/video supplements for my online class. I've used videos from Annenberg in past classes and they were fairly engaging- can't wait to watch these!

My class still doesn't start for a few more days, but the teacher opened up the content online a couple days ago. As with other people, it looks to be a fairly intense course. I've gotten good grades in the rest of my classes- I hope to be able to maintain my GPA in this class, too, so I've already started reading and taking notes. I spent 3 hours the other day setting up an outline for myself....

My class starts in two weeks- all online, lab at home...can't wait to be done with my A&P II class and get started with micro!!

I have my first 2 exams this week, tomorrow lab, Thursday lecture. I've been studying all day! So far, I love my professor and the class seems interesting.

I'm still in waiting mode. My course doesn't start until the end of the month. Pathophysiology unit 4 test tomorrow. I actually took the comprehensive final already.

First day of class was yesterday & it seems very interesting! I'm not thrilled about all the exams but I will get through it. First exam is next week over 5 chapters....yikes!!!!!!
