Hi all!
I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)
Dress code is optional for orientation. Some people came in jeans and yoga pants. Majority of people were headed back to work so they were still in scrubs. We didn't meet any professors but we meet a few important people over the program as well as academic and financial aid advisors.
Be sure to order your tags as they take a month to get back. Have your classes selected as you will be able to register at the window after orientation. Seats fill quickly. I heard a few students complaining they did not get the clinical sites they initially wanted.
Check out Blue Angels across the street for scrubs.
I have a question for those who did the criminal background check already:When scheduling an appointment online, how do I put in the previous address when I've lived in the same place all my life? Do I put it from the month I was born to the present month?
Just write the month and year of your birth and then 11/14. That should be enough

What a coincidence I am on your same situation with the varicella. I have to take a shot and wait a couple of weeks for a second titer. Where did you got your shot?
