I just received the med surge book (2 volumes) and I am extremely please with the quality of the textbooks. it took three days to get here from India and I saved a ton of $$

Hey guys! Wanted to share some textbook insight. searching through eBay I found that the med surge book can be purchased brand new for $68.20 and shipping is only 3.98. However, this book is the international edition and ships from India. I did some research and found that the difference between the international editions and the US editions is the cover picture and the fact that the international editions only come in soft cover. I was also reading that some international editions are printed on lesser quality (non glossy) paper and some only print in black and white. I found an international edition that is printed in color and is the price I mentioned before. I think this is a great price for a brand new shrink wrapped textbook. Just wanted to share since books are really expensive, and I, for one, hate used books because they are usually highlighted in. Oh! And it says this edition carries an access code!

They hand out raffle tickets when you check in and throughout the days they pick out tickets and if yours match they give you a free textbook

Does this appear on anyone else's schedule? How can my Class be from 9-10:20 and then end at 9:40pm....

You mean the math for pharmacology class? Which email did she sent the syllabus to? I don't think many of us realized the amount of work and studying we are going to have to do in order to be successful. It will be difficult but I'm sure with dedication and good study habits it will be okay. Let's not get stressed out ahead of time. Psyching yourself out will do no good. You have to be optimistic and always remember what you put in is what you get out

Just five. They are giving us the rest as electronic versions. All of this has been said by the school and is in the yellow book list paper they gave all of us.
