Hi all!
I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

The petition is for Miami Dade College to offer an AO-BSN program and for them to offer an AO-RN to BSN for those who have already matriculated through the program.
Thank you for your reply. I was planning to wear the scrubs from MDC but they are not too flattering. I was only able to find scrubs that run too big or too small lol.
Wooahhhhhh sorry... My phone is crazy. I meant to say "that yes the scrubs do fit a bit funny. And I do not think they would be too appropriate for orientation

Claudia, I just wanted to warn you to be careful about multiple postings regarding the same subject. It may be considered spam and be flagged by moderators. You can create a new thread under the appropriate sub forum in order to request the signatures for the petition. Good luck!

Thank you again. I guess I should wear more business casual clothing then, but I would say that scrubs is the most appropriate attire for a nursing student, lol.
Lilcubanrican. Where is the link for Fall 2015 ? I want to be in the program already ?
Hey!
Does anyone know if you have to buy the white clinical tops? I'm 4'9 and even the smallest size they had at the bookstore was huge. I'm talking like almost down to my knees. Can I just use a plain white scrub top? Or does it have to have that green border on the sleeve?
Is anyone still trying to get all the health stuff completed? I'm waiting for my blood work to come back, had to get a chest x-ray for positive PPD, and still need to get the flu shot as well.
