Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

How long has everyone waited for their documents to be revieed in the compliance website?

Edwin Candelaria in wolfson campus, he was my micro teacher, he can be a little disorganized and confusing at times but he has passion for what he teaches, he gives a toooooon!!!!!! of extra credit, from online assignments, to papers which are almost already made for you just to replace the data and enter a new one. he gives 4 exams and 1 final but the final which you only have to take if you really need it.

i never did any of the extra credits and i skipped a bunch of online assignments, i didnt take the final and none of my scores from the previous 4 test added up to an A, honestly i thought i was walking out with a B, but he gave an A anyways, FYI he loves students who participate in class thats how i think he gave me the A. micro is probably the hardest science out of all that are required but with him you have a good shot at an A, good luck i hope this helps.

All my documents have been reviewed except my drug test and my background check, they have been sitting in the complio website for the past week without been reviewed, i though i was the only one with the problem.

I'm still waiting on background check and drug screening as well. It's been a week. everything else was done within a few days

just bought my scrubs across the street from medical campus for half the price with school logo appears to be the material

I did as well and street speaking to a few other students there was no issue between the two
