Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

Hi all,

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

I had the 5 panel done at my Dr.s office then had to go back for the 10 panel. I was told today that the lab sends the sample to Atlanta for the 10 panel & the results won't be back till next Thursday. I have everything else. Has anyone had the 10 panel done at the wellness center? How long does it take to get the results back?

Hello, for those who took the CPR class @ Kendall can u please let me know if the book is required. I am taking the class tomorrow@ med camp and I wanted to know if it worths to buy the book. Thanks

What happens if you go to the cpr class without the book? I'm taking it tomorrow @ medical campus but i dont have the book....

I am in the same page with you lilsuzy130, I don't have the book either, I don't understand how they work, I have taken this class years ago in 2 different institutions and they always provide all the material to the students. If I needed the book I'll drop the class and do it somewhere else. Let me know plz if you hear anything. Thanks

If you do the CPR class with a private instructor they provide you the guide in the cost.

I accepted the Full time bridge program online. I am really nervous about doing it online (never taken an online class before). I live 60 miles north of the medical campus and have a 2 yr old and a 9 month old, so its the best choice for me. Did anyone else choose this option or has anyone heard any info about online? BTW, I declined all other program options at medical campus, so that will open up spots. Is there a book list yet?

I got a book list from the book store @ medical campus. It has the prices for all the books, uniforms and all the equipments, but I am not sure if it is the one needed for all the programs. I am going to find out tomorrow because I need it for homestead.

Hello I am considering applying to miami dade fall 2013 generic I would like to know what would be a Good Teas score to achieve if your gpa is 3.6. Is this similar to the Hesi? Also I previously was in a nursing program but decided to transfer.I was told by a counselor that it was ok for me to apply to dade but will this hurt my chances of getting into the program?
