Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

Hi all,

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

Got my flu shot today at Windixie $24.99 and get all this for free: 3 lb. bag of Tangerines

Also got my PPD at CHI and paid $12 plus $50 for the physical and going back for the next PPD next Monday.

Lady at the nursing office at medical campus said deadline to turn all that stuff in has been extended till nov. 9.

I'm also waiting for an email. I called today and they stated second rounds would be this week. I applied to Generic PT/FT & Accelerated. ??

I haven't heard anything But I did call again today around noon and advisement told me that emails for second round will be sent out by today or tomorrow, and a third round depends on acceptance so if everyone accepts then there is no third round. Best luck to everyone that is waiting

Please!! anyone that gets accepted to the second round or knows of someone who dose

please post! which program they got into, teas score and GPA.

I think this will really help everyone waiting as well as others that may look at this blog in the future

I just got an acceptance e-mail for full time generic. I will be declining my seat since I already accepted a seat to full time transitional :) so i'll be opening up a spot for someone.

I got in to the accelerated second round my GPA is a 3.05 teas 76.7 and I had applied also to FT/PT but haven't heard anything hope this helps others. Have faith you will hear something soon!

for future reference: got into 2nd round Full-Time Generic. GPA: 3.11 TEAS: 77.3%, TOTAL SCORE: 77.48​.
