Hi joshsc , im planning on apply for spring 2013 at the medical campus but I have one requirement left (microbiology) which im going to take this fall. Do you think that I can apply even though i havent finish yet all the requirement?

I"m not sure, but I don't think so- You should go talk to an adviser at the Medical Campus (Not any of the other ones). And do it soon- You must apply by Sept. 1st.

I've just handed in my application yesterday for the generic and accelerated programs. My combined score is 87.33. Hoping to get accepted in the generic program. Does anyone have any idea what my chances are? coz the adviser told me there is no guarantee in getting in the program.

From all I've read, it depends on how many apply to the program and what the scores are. I guess we'll find out in Oct or Nov.

Thank you for your message.

I'm still considering to do the retake for TEAS V as I only scored 83.33% last July 17. From what I've heard, the admissions and selection process really are highly competitive so the higher score you get the better chances you've got.

by the way, good luck to all of us who really are intent in getting in the MDC ADN program, be it the generic or accelerated option, what matters is that we get the acceptance letter and try to hang in there the program. :saint:

I just turned in my application for the Spring generic part time 2012. I am so worried I have a Science Gpa of 3.73 and I Scored 83.3 % on the teas. My combined competetive score is a 87.28 . I really want to get in the nursing program but I am so scare right now it is so hard we have to wait until October for answers. Do you guys think I have a chance on being accepted? Or should i retake the Teas?

our scores are almost identical..and we share the same sentiment too, of doing the teas test again...hmmm chances are, we can still add up points in the test subsections...just by going over the manual all over again...now if you can that's doable then go for it...I'm still 50/50 though of going at it again coz it's so stressful...whew!

I just applied for the Transitional and Generic full time programs today. Does anyone know when we should expect to find out if we were accepted or not?

I assume sometime either in October or November- could possibly run up to December for some because they have to wait for people to decline acceptance to notify someone else to fill slots.
