@ Elain7 mm, I don't remember her name she had short curly hair though, I went pretty early there weren't that many people there. @Praying01 thanks! I'll do that now, the worst part is waiting!

Ok so they just called me back and said not all emails for the second round have gone out and they should send more by next Tuesday...that I should just keep waiting. This makes no sense, since someone else said all the emails for the second round have gone out. Idk what else to think because the scores for the next emails are just gonna be lower and mine are already high enough to have been accepted..

mo16...they told me today that the second round had been completed as of yesterday's emails but what makes me question this is that no one posted they received acceptance to the generic part time and it looks like several people gave up their seats for that program

I went there today and no one knew anything! Im so upset already, if its not one thing it's another. It's our education and future can we please get straight answers...and the just received $5 mill to expand and better the program!

Is anyone el accepted into the generic part time? I know 40 of us got accepted. Ive only met one

Person so far in the background check. I already turned in all my requirements health récord, cpr etc.... Im so anxious for the orientation !!!!

Good morning! I have a question about the background check. When i click on the link (from accelerated page) it took me to some other site to schedule and pay for fingerprints which i already did. Is there anything else that has to be done for the background check? The people at the fingerprints place told me all they do is the fingerprints so i feel like I'm missing something but cant seem to find any other info. Any insight you can provide would be great! Thanks!

I dont think there is anything that you need to do. I was thinking the same thing and then yesterday I received an email from MDC saying....

Confirmed On: 10/31/2012

You have successfully completed your background check. It is your responsibility to print this confirmation and present it to your instructor upon request. You may pick up your results at the Student & Administrative Services Dean's Office, room 1355. Please do not reply to this email. If you have any questions, please contact your program advisor.

Regarding the background check, you pay the fee online and then go to get your fingerprinting done. They send your results to mdc and then mdc will email you a confirmation page, which you need to print out and turn into the RN department with the other required info. Go to the dean's office room 1355 to pick up the actual background results (you keep these in order to present to clinical sites). I was surprised that the RN dept didn't want this paperwork, but maybe they already have a copy? FYI...When I was at the campus to turn in my paperwork yesterday, they said that the deadline was extended to 11/9. Good luck to those still waiting for acceptance emails...
